Credits & Facts

OLSEN GANG JUNIOR is a family adventure based on the characters from the original Danish comedy films about the fictional criminal gang. The gang’s leader is the criminal genius Egon Olsen and his accompanies are Benny and Kjeld. They always have a plan of making the perfect heist, but rarely succeed.

In this ‘prequel’ to the many Olsen Gang movies, the gang’s members are still young kids. It’s the year 1958. Egon Olsen lives in an orphanage. He has a plan on how to get away from there: he wants to be adopted by a rich family. Benny and Kjeld are excited, but like in every other Olsen gang movie, obstacles get’s in the way.

Egon’s new parents drives him out to a rocket factory and want to send him into space as the first human. Before the Russians and the Americans, Denmark was to be part of history as a space nation. Benny and Kjeld embarks on a journey to free Egon.
