Reporter Annika Bengtzon is at the Nobel prize awards gala in Stockholm, when a woman in a golden gown manages to sneak into the dance hall and shoot an Israeli laureate and kill his female dancing partner – before fleeing into the winter night.
Annika is prohibited from writing about the event, silenced by the police as a key witness to the shooting. She decides to investigate the background of the killed woman on her own, and reveals a web of conspiracy behind the Nobel Committee.
A world of intrigues and power play, where Annika traces the deadly truth.
This spectacular Nordic Noir thriller is filmed on location in Stockholm at the City Hall where the actual Nobel Prize awards ceremony takes place annually. Featuring an all-star cast of both the new generation and established Swedish actors.
